artistically speaking of course !

This project is a recently acquired passion for producing artwork in pastel, charcoal, graphite and digital processes. It seems weird that a guy in his eighties, who hadn't attempted any form of drawing or painting since he was kid in junior school should suddenly become obsessed with this sort of thing. It happened to me after a chance encounter with a friend who had also taken up this in a serious way shortly after his retirement. Having signed up for and diligently followed a couple of courses I have developed a strong (but not exclusive) interest in the photo-realism and hyper-realism styles and am practising, practising, practising to become at least halfway good at them.

So what's with the DjKenny title?  Don't ask !! That's a non-de-plume that was somewhat euphemistically applied to me by my son-in-law some while ago for reasons that are given in the portfolio
