some stubborn sticking points

I have a database of information about each of the primary family names in each of my genealogical projects and obviously would like to see these broaden and expand.  I would love to hear from - and share information with - any visitors to the site who bear any of the surnames we are principally dealing with (Rudkin, Whitehouse, Heron, Wilmot, Lee, McKemmish or Kuren) - or who have family or other links to them and urge such people to make contact. Over the past few years I have not only been able to effect some valuable exchanges of information, photographs etc but have also have been able to put hitherto unknown cousins in touch with each other.

Obviously, in all genealogical research one reaches a point beyond which it seems impossible to progress any further back through earlier generations or to obtain clarification of particular matters or events. Also, of course, many loose-ends are to be found in much more recent family strands. In most cases the information is out there, but to find it - without a great deal of expense and/or luck, is another matter despite hours and hours of research time and effort!

Some of my current, seemingly solid, brick walls are listed below -

Seeking the antecedence of Christian Pitt (or Pitts)
born c1729 married Henery  (sic)  Rudkin in Oakham, Rutland on 17 Apr 1749, had eight children, died 10 Apr 1770 in Oakham. Henery was born c1730 in Tinnegarney, Co Carlow, Ireland and died c1783 in Oakham, Rutland.  Christian may have been born in the Co Carlow area or possibly in Lincolnshire or Leicestershire

Looking for the origins of Elijah Heron
born in 1768, place not known. Died on 13 Dec 1828 in Madras, India where is buried at St Thomas Mount. On 4 Apr 1789 he married Sarah Bilcliffe at Valpery, Madras. Sarah's date and place of birth not known. They had two children.

Seeking clarification of the parentage and siblings of John Whitehouse
born in 1761 most probably in Wednesbury or West Bromwich (both in Staffordshire); he died in West Bromwich on 11 Jun 1826. He married Sarah Wilson on 17 Sep 1810 in West Bromwich. Sarah was born in Dec 1786 in Wednesbury where she died in 1861 having borne five children with John

Looking for the parentage and siblings of Edwin Lee
born in 1829 in Liddington, Wilstshire. His wife's forename was Maria - her maiden-name is not known but she was also born in Liddington and in the same year as Edwin. They had three children.

Seeking parentage and siblings of James Kuren (or Kurn)
the father of Elizabeth Caroline Kuren, born in 1877 in Biddenden, Kent. Caroline married Thomas William McKemmish on 18 Apr 1906 in Worth, West Sussex and they had two children.

Seeking parentage and siblings of Edward Charles Wilmot
born c1804 (place not known). May have resided in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire between 1826-1850 and, prior to that in Windemere, Westmoreland. Married Maud Winchester, date and place not known. They had two children,
